Lara Riefle is a doctoral student at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, where she investigates individuals’ interaction with AI-based systems. Taking a human-centric perspective on human-AI collaboration, she explores how insights about individual user characteristics can be leveraged to provide the best possible user experience. In three years of research, she has applied methods ranging from interviews, over behavioural experiments, to design science research – always seeking to advance knowledge.

Besides doing research, she finds joy in coaching students and developing their skills during bachelor or master theses.
